My passion is creating portraits that capture the beauty within all of us. I love the classic, timelessness of the black and white image as well as the emotional, romantic feel they embody. In studio I use a very limited palate of backgrounds and props. The focus of my studio work is on the subject – not silly backgrounds or giant numbers. I want these to be classic images that won’t simply be a reflection of the current fads of over processed/Instagrammy looking snapshots.
I trained for a career in photojournalism and my weekday job creating TV commercials dovetails perfectly with my weekend passion of creating artistic portraits for models, high school seniors and families.
